
BC Cross Country Prepares for Pre-National Meet

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Boston College Women's Cross Country is set for its final cross country event before championships, as they travel to Missouri to run in the Pre-National Meet on Friday, October 17.
The women's 6k race will take place at 11:00 a.m. EST on the Gans Creek Cross Country Course, consisting of two 3k loops. It is the Eagles' second straight year competing in the Pre-National Meet, finishing 20th place with 534 points last year. Abby Lewis, Ella Fadil, and Molly FitzPatrick all raced for the team in Wisconsin.
Boston College is coming off a strong start to the 2025 cross country season, claiming fifth place at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational and outracing multiple nationally ranked teams. Five runners recorded personal bests, including four scorers, led by Imogen Gardiner with a 16th-place finish and time of 20:07.1.
The Eagles enter Friday's race as the No. 23-ranked team in the NCAA and No. 1 in the Northeast Region, the first time reaching that title since 2020.
