Cross Country Finishes Seventh at Pre-National Meet

COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 23-ranked Boston College Women's Cross Country wrapped up regular season action at the Pre-National Meet, hosted by Missouri. The team finished seventh overall with 306 points.

Imogen Gardiner guided the Eagles from the start, crossing the line in 13^th place with a time of 19:51.6, a new personal best. Following behind Gardiner was Kyra Holland, who also set a personal best in the 6k with a time of 20:01.3, good for 21^st place.

Next to cross the line was Molly FitzPatrick, earning 66^th after running a 20:44.2. Closing out the Boston College lineup was Elizabeth Barlow (21:11.5) and Abby Lewis (21:11.6), as both finished side-by-side for 112^th and 113^th place.

The Eagles rounded out with Iris Bergman running another personal best in the 6k, finishing 119^th at 21:14.4, and sophomore Lindsey Whitton running a 22:00.7 in her first collegiate cross-country race.

With the conclusion of the regular season, Boston College now focuses on the ACC Cross Country Championships, hosted by Louisville, on Friday, October 31.
