Eagles' Price Earns ACC Player of the Week Honors

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College's KP Price earned an ACC weekly award on Monday as the Defensive Back of the Week. Price's selection represents the third Eagles player to earn an ACC Player of the Week honor this season.Â
Last week vs. Clemson, Price finished with a career-high 14 total tackles, including 10 solo tackles, and one interception. Price's previous career-high in tackles was 10, a number he reached this season at Pittsburgh (10/4) and last season at Virginia on October 5, 2024. Price's 5.3 solo tackles per game ranks tenth nationally and atop the ACC. He leads Boston College with 51 total tackles this season.Â
In addition, Price added an interception with a 31-yard return in the third quarter vs. Clemson, his first interception in 2025 and third of his career.Â
Boston College (1-5, 0-4 ACC) will host Connecticut (4-2) for their first noon kickoff of the 2025 season on Saturday, October 18 at Alumni Stadium. The game can be seen on the ACC Network.
