Eagles Ready for Quinnipiac Classic Monday

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Following a two-week break, the Boston College women's golf team returns to the fairways on Oct. 13-14 for the Quinnipiac Classic, held at The Farms Country Club in Wallingford, Conn.

Boston College is coming off its fourth straight Red Bandanna Invitational, where it came from behind in the final round of play to beat Dartmouth by one stroke. Three players in the lineup finished in the top 10, as well as two Eagles individuals.

The two-day tournament begins with 36 holes of competition on Monday morning in a shotgun start, followed by the third and final round of action on Tuesday.Â

The Eagles will be paired with Fairfield and Quinnipiac, teeing off the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th holes on Monday morning, starting at 9:00 a.m.

The Farms Country Club is a private 18‑hole championship layout designed by Geoffrey S. Cornish, which opened in 1961. Stretching roughly 6,740 yards from the back tees with a par‑72, it carries a course rating of 73 and a slope of 127. The layout features wide fairways and meticulously maintained greens, offering a balance between playability and challenge for golfers at varying skill levels. Water hazards and sand bunkers are part of the design, contributing to strategic play for golfers.
