
A Four Goal Second Period Propel the Eagles Over Maine

Julia Pellerin scored three times in the win over Maine.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – A four goal second period lifted the Boston College Eagles 5-0 over the Maine Black Bears on Sunday afternoon.
The two sides traded chances in the first period, with neither side finding the back of the net after the first 20 minutes.
The Eagles broke the tie two minutes into the second period, as Julia Pellerin was able to score during a BC power play. Alanna Devlin added BC's second goal eight minutes into the period. Molly Jordan notched her fifth goal of the season in the 14th minute of the game. Pellerin got her second power play goal with three minutes left in the period. The Eagles went into the final intermission with a 4-0 lead.
Julia Pellerin notched her third goal of the game in the third period. Pellerin is the first Eagle since 2022 to earn a hat trick.
Grace Campbell ended the night with 30 saves earning her second shutout of the season and the sixth of her career.
