Eagles Drop Road Game to Boston University

BOSTON – Boston College Women's Hockey falls to crosstown rival Boston University 2-3 on Friday evening at Walter Brown Arena.
Gaby Roy gave the Eagles an early 1-0 lead five minutes into the contest. Roy's goals came off a turnover cause Abby Newhook who dished the puck to Roy. Boston University responded to BC's goal tying the game at one apiece at 12:53 in the first period.
The Terriers got the 2-1 lead at the 5:51 mark in the second period scoring a power play goal. The score remained 2-1 heading into the final 20 minutes.
In the final frame, Kate Ham tied the game up off a pass from Julia Pellerin three minutes into the period. BU broke the tie halfway through the final 20 minutes to give them the 3-2 victory.
