Track & Field Competes at Riverhawk Invitational

Anna Sonsini breaks school record and Eagles compile seven top-10 times throughout the weekend.
BOSTON, Mass – The Boston College Men's and Women's Track & Field teams competed at the Riverhawk Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the TRACK at new balance.Â
The Eagles returned to action after a long semester break, to run at the Riverhawk Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell. The Meet kicked off on Friday morning with Men's Track and Field events, and concluded on Saturday with the Women's events.Â
The Eagles compiled seven top-ten times in school history, including one school record by Anna Sonsini.
Highlights of the Meet
Anna Sonsini finished fourth overall in the Women's 60m dash, earning a school record time of 7.69. Sonsini also earned a personal-best time of 24.71 in the Women's 200m, which is good for third all-time in school history.
Anna Becker now sits at fifth all-time in school history for the Women's 200m with a time of 24.88, while Kylee Bernard is eighth all-time with her time of 25.04.Â
Sophie Albright finished third overall in Women's High Jump, with a mark of 1.65m. Abi Peterson (1.60)Â finished eighth and Lily Dumas (1.60) placed 11th.Â
Morgan Champi finished tenth in the Women's Weight Throw, earning a mark of 15.51m
Colin Kravitz and Max Deane both entered the school's top-10 list for the Men's 60m dash on Friday. Kravitz and Deane both earned a time of 7.16 which is now tied for seventh all-time in program history.
Kravitz raced to a time of 21.49 in the Men's 200m, giving him a personal best time. Kravitz's 200m time places him at no. 2 all-time in program history.Â
