Women's Golf Opens 2024 Slate at Cougar Classic

BC begins play on Monday in Charleston, S.C.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's golf team will begin play during its 2024 fall slate at the 2024 Cougar Classic at Yeamans Hall.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament begins on Monday morning with a shotgun start.  Teams will play 36 holes in continuous format, followed by Tuesday's third and final round.  The Eagles will be paired with Georgetown and individuals, teeing off on the 16th, 17th, and 18th holes.
From the inaugural round played by the Yale Golf Team of 1926 to the hosting of the USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship in 1997, Yeamans Hall Club has enjoyed a long tradition of support of amateur golf. Designed by Seth Raynor at the height of his career and completed just prior to his death at age 51, the golf course was described by famed sportswriter Grantland Rice as "the most marvelous in the country." Â
