Men’s Hockey Adds Seven Newcomers to 2024-25 Roster

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's hockey has added seven newcomers to its roster for the 2024-25 season, consisting of six freshmen and one transfer. Represented among the newcomers are five forwards, two defensemen and a total of three NHL draft picks.
Brady Berard
Jr. • F • East Greenwich, R.I. • Providence (HEA)
• Skated in 61 games over two seasons for Providence in Hockey East, posting three goals and eight assists
• Scored his first career goal in overtime against Northeastern in the Hockey East quarterfinals during the 2022-23 season
• Played for USNTDP in 2021-22, playing in 47 games with four goals and six assists
James Hagens
Fr. • F • Hauppauge, N.Y. • USNTDP (USHL)
• Spent the last two seasons playing for USNTDP
• His 187 points over two seasons is the fifth-most in program history
• Appeared in 58 games for the U.S. Under-18 team in 2023-24, recording 39 goals and 63 assists for 102 points, seventh-most in a single season in USNTDP history
• Broke the IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship scoring record with 22 points (9-13–22), helping Team USA to a silver medal while being named tournament MVP
Michael Hagens

Jake Sondreal

• Registered 69 points with 27 goals and 42 assists in 60 games during the 2023-24 campaign. Also played in 11 playoff games

Teddy Stiga
