Women’s Soccer Closes Non-Conference Slate With 5-0 Win Over Grambling State

The Eagles saw five different goal scorers in the victory over Grambling State.

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's soccer wrapped up non-conference action with a 5-0 victory against Grambling State.

This marks the first time since 2018 that the Eagles have had eight wins in their non-conference schedule.

The Eagles picked up their first goal in the sixth minute of the game when Paige Peltier scored off a cross from Sydney Segalla. The Eagles went into the break up 1-0.

In the second half, BC found the back of the net four different times, with four different goal scorers.

Ava Lung started the scoring in the 61st minute. Boston kept the offensive pressure going and scored three goals in seven minutes.

Ella Richards, Ashley Roberts and Andi Barth all picked up goals tonight to give Boston College a 5-0 victory.

The Eagles return to ACC play against Virginia Tech on Sunday kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The match will air live on ACCNX.
