At 29-23, Boston College enters the postseason with the best win percentage under the guidance of head coach Amy Kvilhaug at .558. Adding on the teams best conference record at 9-15, since 2017. This will be the teams first appearance in the tournament with Kvilhaug at the helm.Â

ABOUT THE EAGLES
Boston College completed the regular season 29-23 overall and 9-15 in the ACC to earn the ninth seed in this week's ACC Championship; the first team appearance since 2018. The Eagles entered the final weekend of play tied for ninth with Louisville and Syracuse. The Eagles defeated the Cardinals in two walk off wins in game one and two, to claim the series and secure a spot in the ACC tournament. Junior catcher and leadoff hitter Hannah Slike leads BC with a .353 batting average, .393 on-base percentage and 27 RBIs. Senior third baseman Nicole Giery lands second on the order with a .333 hitting average, .378 on-base percentage and 17 doubles. Junior right-handed pitcher Abby Dunning leads off the pitching staff. She is 13-13 with a 2.45 earned run average in 166 innings across 31 games, which includes 26 starts.  Â

BOSTON COLLEGE VS SYRACUSE
The Eagles and Orange faced earlier in the season in a three game series on March 22-24. Boston College defeated Syracuse in the first two match-ups to secure the series. Freshman shortstop Gator Robinson led BC with a .714 batting average over the series meeting. Adding two runs and two RBI hitting her first home run of her career. Right handed pitcher Abby Dunning led the Eagles within the circle against the Orange with a 2.40 earned run average pitching 11.2 innings, allowing 11 hits, eight runs, four walks, and striking out 18 batters. Â
