John Collins Homers Again as No. 4 Clemson Takes Series

Eagles will play regular season finale on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
The Eagles opened the scoring in the second inning, with John Collins (New York, N.Y.) driving his second home run in as many days over the center field fence to put BC up 2-0. Clemson responded with nine runs over the next three innings to go up 9-2. Cameron Leary (Bethpage, N.Y.)Â crossed on a wild pitch in the sixth to cut it to a 9-3 deficit, before Clemson responded with two of their own in the bottom of the frame.
The Eagles rallied for three runs in the eighth, started off by an RBI double from Kyle Wolff (Andover, Mass.) and followed by a two-run single from Adam Magpoc (Torrance, Ca.), cutting the deficit to 11-6, where the score would hold.
A.J. Colarusso (Leominster, Mass.) started the game for BC and went 3.2 innings, giving up six runs, three earned, while striking out three and walking one, taking the loss (3-8). Billy Barlow earned the win (6-1) for Clemson.
The Eagles will face the Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday in their final game of the regular season.
