Eagles will continue homestand against Dartmouth on Wednesday
BRIGHTON, Mass. — Boston College Baseball (17-14, 6-9) fell in the 2024 Beanpot Championship, 7-0 to Northeastern (25-7, 7-2 CAA) on Tuesday night.
Evan Moore (Rocky Hill, Conn.) started for Boston College and cruised through four innings, striking out eight and walking just one, giving up one earned run on only two hits. Moore was issued the loss (1-2). Travis Lane (Georgetown, Mass.) and Brad Lombardi (East Greenwich, R.I.) both turned in scoreless outings in relief, with Lane striking out the side in the eighth and Lombardi fanning two in the ninth.
Evan Moore's eight strikeouts on Tuesday tied him with A.J. Colarusso (2/17 vs. Kansas State) and Tyler Mudd (3/2 vs. William and Mary) for the game-high this season.
Charlie Walker (4-0) received the win for Northeastern.
The Eagles will host Dartmouth on the back-to-back on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
