Eagles Fall to BU in Midweek Match-up

BOSTON– The Boston College Softball program fell to Boston University, 6-1, Tuesday afternoon at the BU Softball field.Â
The Terriers and Eagles both got on the board early after the Terriers struck first off a two-RBI double in the second. Hannah Slike answered with an RBI double, making it a one point game in the top of the third. Â
Boston University added another in the third off a home run down the left line. The run continued for the Terriers, adding one in the fifth off an RBI triple, and two in the sixth off a two-run homer.Â
The Eagles were unable to respond in the seventh closing the score, 6-1 Terriers.Â
Boston College returns to action at home for a three game series against Louisville beginning Friday, at 4:00 p.m.
