Markus Lam led BC with his 18th place finish
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Boston College finished sixth at the Stitch Intercollegiate, held at the Lonnie Poole G.C. on the campus of N.C. State.
The Eagles finished with a team score of 892, posting their best team score during Friday's second round of play, posting a 2-under 290. Â BC opened the tournament with a 304 and closed with a 298 on Saturday. Â Host N.C. State won the tournament with a team score of 870.
Markus Lam led BC, tying for 18th place (78-72-72=222). Â Lam posted back-to-back rounds of 72 during the second and third rounds. He posted a team-best 34 pars.
Cameron Harlock (72-76-75=223) tied for 21st place. Â He finished among the tournament's leaders in par 4 scoring (4.11 avg.), playing those holes at 3-over for the weekend.
After a slow start, Jack Pogorelc (84-70-70=224) was 4-under for this final 36 holes, carding consecutive rounds of 70. Â He registered 10 birdies - tied for second-most among the field.
Mac Bredahl tied for 50th (79-72-81=232), posting an even-par 72 in the second round. Â Ben Hong tied for 53rd (75-78-81=234). Â Christian Emmerich placed 71st (85-81-76=241), competing as an individual.
