
Eagles Ready to Compete at NCAA Regionals

24 Eagles will represent Boston College at the 2024 NCAA Northeast Regionals
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – 24 members of the Boston College Fencing team are set to compete at the 2024 NCAA Northeast Regionals Championships on Sunday, Mar. 10 at the Pratt Recreation Center on the campus of Long Island University.Â
LAST TIME OUT
The Eagles traveled to South Bend, Ind. to compete at the 2024 ACC Fencing Championships, and were joined by Duke, Notre Dame, and North Carolina.
The meet took place over two days, with Saturday consisting of Men's and Women's individual round robin bouts. The round robin bouts were followed by semifinals and finals bouts. Men's and Women's team events were on Sunday to finish the championship meet.
Levi Hughes took home the bronze medal in Men's Epee, while Cameron Cho finished third overall to earn the bronze medal in Women's Foil.
On the Women's side, the Eagles finished tied for third overall in the team event with a record of 1-2 overall. Notre Dame took home the ACC team title, finishing with a 2-1 record. The Men's team placed fourth overall, finishing with an overall record of 0-3. North Carolina went 3-0 overall and won the ACC team title.Â

The Eagles will travel to Brookville, N.Y. to compete at the 2024 NCAA Northeast Regional Fencing Championships.
Boston College will have 24 athletes competing in the regional meet. On the Men's side they will have Luca Berman, Ryan Wong, Colin Noble, and Inigo Rivera in Men's Sabre. Adam Yang, Ryan Ho, Elijah Onik, and Christian Ko will compete in Men's Foil, while Levi Hughes, Zachary Westen, Torata Mishima, and Colin Yu will be competing in Men's Epee. On the Women's side Boston College will have Rachel Buhay, Isabella Zielinski, Rachel Liu, and Artemis Christeas in Women's Sabre. Greta De Back, Taylor Sartori, Cameron Cho, and Taylor Cho will be in Women's Foil, while Junyao Lu, Ginevra Giordano, Helen Cobert, and Lauren McCutchen will be battling in Women's Epee.Â
The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. eastern time, and can be streamed live via NEC Front Row.Â
