Live scrimmage highlights the midway point of spring.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College football held its seventh practice of spring ball inside Fish Field House on Saturday morning. The Eagles were back in full pads for their first live scrimmage of the semester, complete with tackling to the ground and a full officiating crew.

- Jerand Bradley started the scrimmage with a long catch-and-run on a completion from Thomas Castellanos down to the six-yard line. On second-and-goal, Castellanos hit Lewis Bond in the backfield with a passing touchdown.
- Grayson James threaded the ball through double coverage to Dino Tomlin, who bobbled and caught the pass while falling to the ground for a score.
- The offensive line created a large hole up the middle for Datrell Jones, but corner Jalon Williams stepped up from the secondary and made the one-on-one tackle to prevent a deep run.
- Castellanos hit Jaedn Skeete in stride on a deep corner route from the 50-yard line to inside the 10.
- In red zone work, Kye Robichaux scored on a first-down run.
- Alex Broome ripped off a 30-yard run, slicing through the line, down the left sideline and cutting back to the middle after crossing midfield.
- Cornerback Amari Jackson pulled in a one-handed interception on his knees from a tipped pass.
- Donovan Ezeiruaku and Sedarius McConnell applied pressure and forced a throwaway from Castellanos in a collapsing pocket.
- Carter Davis knocked a ball out of the hands of a tight end to prevent a third-down conversion.
- From his defensive tackle position, Owen Stoudmire went around the tackle and made a play on the quarterback.
- Josiah Griffin was not fooled by a fake handoff and immediately met the spinning quarterback in the backfield.
- Khalil Ali got behind the line and made a touchdown-saving, ankle tackle in red zone work.
- In the first live field goal reps of spring, Jackson Gugni snapped to holder Sam Candotti and Liam Connor knocked through the PAT.
- Broome and Jackson were featured deep on kick returns.
- Wide receiver Luke McLaughlin blocked a punt.
- Candotti's first punt was downed at the six.
- Connor connected on a 39-yard field goal and Connor Lytton made a 50-yard attempt.
