BC Defeats Bobcats in Final Match-up of the Eagle Round Robin

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.– Boston College softball defeated Quinnipiac 5-0 in the final match-up of the Eagle Round Robin Sunday afternoon at the Harrington Athletics Village.
The Eagles sole scoring was in the third inning adding on five runs. With Nicole Giery and Hannah Slike on bases, an Addison Jackson home run brought all three home. The momentum continued with an Elisabeth Laviolette single up the middle and advancing to second on a wild pitch. With Jordan Stephens up to bat a double brought Laviolette home. The Eagles added the game's last run off of a Gator Robinson single bringing Stephens through home plate. Â
Addison Jackson had her first career home run adding on 3 RBIs. The Eagles record moves to 17-8 and 5-0 at home.Â
The Eagles return to action Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. against Maine in the Harrington Athletics Village.Â
