Eagles will face Holy Cross, Iona, and Quinnipiac over the weekend
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-- The Boston College softball program continues at home hosting the Eagle Round Robin.
Holy Cross, Iona, and Quinnipiac make up the competition for the four game tournament with Iona playing BC twice on the weekend while Holy Cross and Quinnipiac will play the Eagles once.Â
Boston College and Holy Cross have met 28 times on the diamond with BC leading the series 26-2. Meeting of the two teams dates back to 1995. In the Eagles last visit to Worcester in 2019 BC took the game 6-1.Â
This will be just the second meeting of Boston College and Quinnipiac. The last time the two teams met in 2019 the Eagles defeated the Bobcats 8-0. This will be the first meeting of BC and Iona in program history.Â
Boston College held its home opener this past week against Stonehill defeating the Skyhawks 8-0 in five innings. Emma Jackson and Kali Case both added two hits and two runs as BC finished the afternoon tying the season high 10 hits.
