
Boston College Wraps up 2024 EISA Season at Middlebury Carnival

HANCOCK, Vt. – The Boston College ski team wrapped up its 2024 EISA campaign at the Middlebury Carnival this weekend.
Bode Flanigan (1:36.87) led the Eagles in the Men's Slalom, scoring with a 19th-place finish. Matthew Smallhouse (1:39.44), Nick Kirwood (1:40.62), and Ben Charleston (1:42.73) followed shortly after to place 39th, 46th, and 53rd respectively.
Lauren Hunter (26th) and Morgan Ellis (28th) each recorded scoring placements in the Women's Slalom. Jasmine Whittaker fell just short of a top-30 finish, placing just tenths of a second outside of the cut. Lauren Geary rounded out the BC finishers, placing 39th.
Zachary Simmons was the first Eagle to place in the Men's Giant Slalom, finishing 16th. Flanigan found himself just six spots outside of scoring points for the second time this weekend, placing 36th. Ben Charleston and Nick Kirwood were the final BC racers to place, recording 51st and 52nd respectively.
Chiara Maria Ferrari was the top Women's Giant Slalom finisher for Boston College, placing 38th. Lauren Hunter, Morgan Ellis, and Sam Naples followed shortly after with 41st, 42nd, and 54th-place finishes respectively.
