
Flanigan Competes at NCAA Skiing Championships

The Sophomore places 32nd in the Giant Slalom and 21st in the Slalom
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – Bode Flanigan represented Boston College in the NCAA Skiing Championships this week, placing 32nd in the Giant Slalom on Wednesday and 21st in the Slalom on Friday night.
Flanigan saved his top run for last in Giant Slalom competition, scoring 30th in his second run with a time of 54.48. He recorded an overall time of 1:49.15.
The sophomore continued to climb the rankings during the Slalom, tallying a 27th-place finish in the first run with a time of 39.48 - just 0.54 seconds away from a Top-20 placement. He followed up his opening time by clocking in his best single-run finish at 42.04 to place 12th on the second run and 21st overall (1:21.52), missing the Top-20 by 0.30 seconds.
