BC Bested by Georgia Tech

WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Boston College women's tennis team (4-4, 0-2 ACC) dropped its first of three matches this weekend against Georgia Tech (5-4, 1-0 ACC), suffering a 5-2 setback on Friday.
After dropping the doubles point 2-1, the Eagles fell into a 3-0 deficit after falling short in the no. 3 and no. 5 singles matches. Marice Aguiar scored the first point for BC, winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-4 in an impressive showing.
Natalie Eordekian took BC's second singles match of the day, taking a 6-1, 6-7, 1-0 three-set victory. Muskan Mahajan forced a third set in the no. 4 singles match as well, but fell just short 2-6, 6-0, 3-6.

The Eagles are back in action on Sunday for a home doubleheader against Clemson at 10:00 a.m. and Stonehill at 2:00 p.m.
