After Clemson took the first doubles match, the Eagles rallied their way to two, closely-contested wins to earn the doubles point. Marice Aguiar and Stephanie Sanchez tied the series at 1-1 with a 7-5 victory, followed by Natalie Eordekian and Tola Glowacka sealing the deal with a 7-6 win.
Muskan Mahajan was the first Eagle to secure a victory in singles competition, taking her match 6-1, 6-1 to give BC a 2-1 lead. Aguiar extended the lead to 3-1, besting Clemson's Eleni Louka 6-4, 6-3. The Tigers would answer with back-to-back wins to tie the match at 3-3.
After dropping the first set in the deciding match 7-5, Eordekian would mount a match-winning comeback 6-4, 6-2 to give Boston College its first ACC win of the season.
The Eagles were able to carry the momentum into their next matchup against Stonehill, sweeping the Skyhawks 4-0 as BC prevented its opponents from taking a single set.
