CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. --  Top-ranked Boston College hosts Vermont for a weekend series inside Kelley Rink. Both games will take place at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday with game-two as part of a day-night, hockey doubleheader on the Heights with the BC women's hockey team playing at 2 p.m. The Eagles have won eight consecutive Hockey East match-ups and sit atop the league standings at 15-3-1; one point ahead of Boston University and 14 points ahead of third-place Maine. BC swept a home-and-home series with No. 11/10 Massachusetts last weekend behind 5-1 and 6-4 wins. Freshman Ryan Leonard totaled five goals, including a Sunday hat trick, on his way to earning Hockey East Co-Player of the Week honors.
