Eagles Compete at Williams Carnival

HANCOCK, Mass. – The Boston College ski team put together another well-rounded performance at the Williams Carnival this weekend. The Eagles recorded four, top-15 finishes in addition to five more top-30 placements.
Bode Flanigan continued his impressive Sophomore campaign with a 13th-place finish in the Men's Slalom (1:33.47), followed by placing 14th in the Men's Giant Slalom with a time of 1:35.95. Flanigan wrapped up his weekend earning 21st (1:32.74) in the UVM Carnival make-up Slalom on Sunday.
Matthew Smallhouse (Slalom) and Ryan Bianchi (make-up Slalom) also scored on the men's side for BC, placing 28th and 27th in their respective events.
Lauren Hunter led the Eagles on the women's side with a 10th-place finish in the Women's Giant Slalom with a time of 1:38.68. Chiara Maria Ferrari placed shortly after, recording a time of 1:38.99 to finish 14th. Hunter carried her momentum from Friday into the Women's Slalom, scoring with a 26th-place finish (1:45.27).
Morgan Ellis also secured a top-30 placement, finishing 30th at 1:36.37 in Sunday's make-up Slalom.

The Eagles are back in action on Feb. 23-24 for the EISA Championships hosted by Middlebury College in Hancock, Vt.
