Eagles Break Multiple School Records While Competing at Terrier DMR Challenge

Steven Jackson and Women's DMR break school records on Friday night at BU
BOSTON, Mass. – Boston College Men's and Women's Track and Field teams competed at the Terrier DMR Challenge on Friday night at the BU Track and Tennis Center.
The Eagles were joined by some of the top teams in the country, as well as athletes running for pro teams. There were 11 running events throughout the meet, with Boston College having at least one athlete taking part in five events. The Eagles had athletes participate in the Women's Mile, Men's Mile, Men's 800m, Women's DMR, and the Men's DMR.
Steven Jackson finished strong in the Men's Mile, crossing the finish line in first with a time of 3:55.39. This time breaks the school record in the event, which was set previously by Jackson twice in the last two seasons.
The Women's Distance Medley Relay group of Aoife Dunne, Molly Hudson, Natalie Millerova, and Sydney Segalla came out flying, placing sixth overall with a time of 10:50.00. The group's time breaks the school record, which was previously set by the foursome last week at the Eagle Elite Invite (10:54.89).
The Men's Distance Medley Relay of Cruz Brown, Eddie Kelly, Colin Kravitz, and Patrick Mulryan placed eighth, crossing the line with a time of 9:44.53.
Ryan Beegle placed sixth overall in the Men's 800m, finishing with a time of 1:51.92. Sarah Flynn came in 13th in the Women's Mile, crossing the finish line at 4:42.97.
