CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Top-ranked Boston College finds itself in the Beanpot consolation game on Monday night against Harvard. The Eagles, who from last Monday's semifinal to BU at TD Garden, responded with a 6-1 win over No. 17 New Hampshire on Friday, including three goals in the first five minutes and a 4-for-7 performance on power plays. BC defeated Harvard, 4-1, in Cambridge earlier this season. Boston College is 30-15-1 all-time against Harvard at the Beanpot, but a year ago it was Marek Hejduk's goal with 1.5 seconds left in overtime that sent the No. 10 Crimson on to the finals with a 4-3 decision in the semifinal.

• Cutter Gauthier had a career-best 14-game point streak, with a 11-10-21 scoring line, snapped against BU (2/5) at the Beanpot.
• His 14-game streak surpassed Maine's Josh Nadeau for the longest in the country this season, which is also the longest in Hockey East since 2018-19.
