The Eagles fall to Holy Cross in Overtime

Sammy Taber had the lone goal for the Eagles.
WORCHESTER, Mass. – The No. 10 Boston College Women's Hockey team fell to Holy Cross in overtime in the final game of the first half of the season on Friday evening.
The Eagles went on the power play one minute into the game. Four seconds into the power play, Sammy Taber scored off the faceoff to give the Eagles the early 1-0 lead.
BC had 19 shots on goal in the second period, while the Crusaders only had six. Neither side scored, giving the Eagles the 1-0 advantage heading into the final frame.
Holy Cross tied the game up in the final three minutes, forcing overtime. During overtime, Holy Cross broke the tie, picking up the 2-1 victory.
