Ezeiruaku, Kendall and Trapilo voted All-ACC First Team.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Seven Boston College football players earned All-ACC recognition as announced by the league office on Tuesday evening. Graduate offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo (Norwell, Mass.), senior defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku (Williamstown, N.J.) and redshirt-junior center Drew Kendall (Norwell, Mass.) led the Eagles as All-ACC First Team selection.
Graduate defensive tackle Cam Horsley (Cinnaminson, N.J.) earned Third Team status. Graduate offensive guard Jack Conley (New Canaan, Conn.), redshirt-junior wide receiver Lewis Bond (Chicago, Ill.) and redshirt-junior offensive guard Logan Taylor (Bridgewater, N.S.) claimed Honorable Mention.
Trapilo, a Second Team selection a year ago, started all 12 games at right tackle. He earned a 76.4 offensive rating from PFF and a team-best 80.5 pass block rating. Kendall earned his first career ACC honor after starting all 12 games. He rated at 74.5 on offense and 80.1 in pass block from PFF and allowed just six pressures on 347 dropback snaps.
For the season, Ezeiruaku led all of FBS in sacks at 16.5, which tied the BC single-season record. He totaled 80 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and 15 quarterback hurries. Ezeiruaku, who had just two sacks in 2023, was an All-ACC Second Team selection as a sophomore in 2022.
Horsley started 11 games with 42 tackles, seven tackles for loss, three pass breakups and three quarterback hurries. He previously earned Honorable Mention in 2023.
Bond led the Eagles with 60 receptions and 590 receiving yards. He added three touchdown receptions. Bond's 60 receptions ranked ninth most in the league and are the 10th most in a single-season in BC history.
Conley started all 12 games at right guard, while Taylor started 10 games at left guard after returning from an offseason injury. BC's four offensive linemen are tied for the second most on the All-ACC teams in the league and the sixth time in seven years that four or more Eagle o-linemen achieved All-ACC status.
