CJ Williams Drafted in Third Round By New England Revolution

The junior center back has played 46 games on the back line over the last three seasons
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College junior defender CJ Williams was selected by the New England Revolution with the fifth pick in the third round (65th overall) of the 2025 MLS SuperDraft, held on Friday afternoon.
A native of Valley Stream, N.Y., Williams started 15 of the 16 games he appeared in, anchoring the back line for the Eagles. Williams logged 1200 minutes, playing the full 90 minutes in nine contests, including the 1-0 shutout victory over No. 8 North Carolina in the regular season finale.
The junior has 41 starts in 46 games played over the course of three seasons on The Heights, logging 3635 minutes played with one goal.
