
Women's Basketball Rolls Past Bryant

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's basketball rolled past Bryant with a 94-46 victory on Sunday afternoon inside Conte Forum.
The Eagles are 7-0 at home and have won the last 13 at home against non-conference opponents while improving to 9-4 overall. Bryant falls to 7-4 on the season.
Four players led a balanced scoring effort in which all 12 players found the scoring column. Teya Sidberry registered 14 points with four boards and a game-high five swipes.
Savannah Samuel carded a career-high 13 points on six shots, four off the glass, and three steals. Dontavia Waggoner netted 12 points, a team-best six rebounds, and four steals.
Three players dished out six assists, leading the team that assisted on 23 of its 35 baskets. Athena Tomlinson and Andrea Daley reached a career-best in helpers with six, and Kaylah Ivey totaled six assists and nine points.
The Eagles scored a staggering 54 points off 36 turnovers while controlling the paint with a 44-20 showing. BC tied a season-best with 20 steals thanks to five players with multiple swipes.
All it took was a 24-4 first quarter to set the tone, jumping out to a 15-2 lead in the first 5:58 of the contest after three straight layups from Waggoner and Samuel. The Eagles scored 18 of their points off turnovers and totaled eight steals.
BC dominated the rest of the first half to a 51-20 edge going into the locker room. The Eagles coasted to the 48-point win - the highest margin of victory this season.
Eagles close out non-conference action on Friday against Central Connecticut State at 12 p.m. in Conte Forum.
