Eagles Return Home for Notre Dame and No. 4 Louisville

Eagles look to continue momentum after back-to-back sweeps
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.– The Boston College volleyball team (11-13, 4-8 ACC) hosts Notre Dame (9-12, 2-10 ACC) Friday Nov. 8 at 7:00 p.m. and No. 4 Louisville (19-3, 11-1 ACC) Sunday Nov. 10 at 1:00 p.m. Both matches will be featured on ACCNX.
The Eagles closed out the road trip to Wake Forest and NC State undefeated sweeping both competitors in three sets. Audrey Ross led the Eagles offense adding 21 kills over the weekend leading BC in the victory over NC State adding 16 kills and three blocks. Julia Haggerty had a dominant performance on the net adding 15 blocks and 17 kills in the sweeps over Wake Forest and NC State. Haggerty added 11 blocks and 10 kills in the victory over the Wolfpack.
The Eagles meet Notre Dame to continue conference play at home after last meeting the Fighting Irish in 2023 on the road, falling in five sets. Schroder added nine kills and 16 digs in the five set thriller. Sophia Lambros added two aces, and led the Eagles with 21 assists. The Eagles dominated the net adding 17 blocks with Haggerty leading, adding 11.
On Sunday, the Eagles meet Louisville for the program's 15th all-time meeting. Last season, the two teams met on the road in Kentucky. In the four set loss Sam Hoppes added six kills, Haggery led the defense with nine blocks along with Schroder who added 12 digs along with two aces. The offensive effort was guided by Lambros and Jane Petrie who combined for 30 assists.
