The Eagles earned a convincing 85-55 triumph over Lafayette in the season opener on Monday evening in Conte Forum. BC moved to 1-0 for the eighth straight season and 7-0 under head coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee iin season opener. Four players scored in double figures led by Kennedi Jackson, who in her BC debut, poured in 20 points on 10-of-16 shooting with a game-high 13 rebounds. T'yana Todd tallied 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting while Kaylah Ivey was one assist shy of a double-double with 15 points (four 3-pointers) and nine helpers. Andrea Daley posted 13 points with 11 rebounds for a double-double, rounding out the leading scorers. BC overcame a slow start on offense in the first quarter to outscore the Leopards 76-41 over the final three periods.

- Watch if BC can get off to a faster start after scoring just nine points in the opening quarter on Monday.
- See if the Eagles can continue to protect the ball. On Monday, they committed just 11 turnovers. BC was 8-6 last season when committing 15 or fewer miscues.
- Kennedi Jackson and Andrea Daley combined for 33 points and 24 rebounds, while both registering double-doubles. See if the tandem can dominate the glass on Thursday.Â
Scouting Sacred Heart (1-0, 0-0 MAAC)
- Sacred Heart is coming off a 63-58 win over Hofstra in its season opener on Monday.
