No. 2 Eagles Complete Weekend Sweep over No. 10 St. Cloud State

BC scored in the second and third periods to come back to win
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The second-ranked Boston College men's hockey team came from behind to defeat No. 10 St. Cloud State by a score of 2-1 on Saturday evening at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. The Eagles trailed 1-0 after the first period, but scored in both the second and third periods to claim the victory.
BC improves to 5-1-0 while St. Cloud State falls to 6-3-0.
With the score tied at 1-1 going into the third period, the Eagles took a 2-1 lead inside the opening four minutes of the final frame. James Hagens (Hauppauge, N.Y.) forced a turnover in the offensive zone and immediately found Gabe Perreault (Hinsdale, Ill.). Perreault dangled the puck around the goaltender to light the lamp and BC ahead.
The Huskies jumped out to a 1-0 lead less than five minutes into the first period. St. Cloud State capitalized on a turnover behind the BC net as Verner Miettinen got his shot past Jacob Fowler (Melbourne, Fla.).
Shortly into the second period, the Eagles tied the game when Eamon Powell (Marcellus, N.Y.) scored his first goal of the season.Michael Hagens (Hauppauge, N.Y.) passed the puck from the right side to the left side for Powell to shoot it first time low into the bottom right corner.
Fowler made 25 saves in the contest to pick up his fifth win of the season.
