BC set to face Clemson and No. 15 Georgia Tech on the Road

Eagles set to meet its sixth nationally ranked opponent this season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-- The Boston College volleyball team (12-14, 5-9 ACC) travels to Clemson (8-17, 0-14 ACC) and No. 15 Georgia Tech (18-5, 10-4 ACC) this weekend to face-off the Tigers Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:00 p.m. and the Yellow Jackets Sunday, Nov. 17 at 1:00 p.m.Â
The Eagles split the weekend defeating Notre Dame in three sets, while falling to No. 4 Louisville in three. The sweep of the Fighting Irish was led by Audrey Ross adding 14 kills, Ross tallied two aces, and four blocks while the defensive end was led by Brooklyn Yelland adding 11 digs and three aces. In the three set effort against Louisville Julia Haggerty notched her 500th career block making her the first Eagle in program history to achieve the 500 mark. Â
The Eagles meet Clemson on the road for the 32nd all-time meeting. In 2023 the Eagles and Tigers met in the Margot Connell Rec Center. In the three set effort Haggerty added five kills and two blocks, while Sophia Lambros guided the offense adding 17 assists and three aces. The Eagles are looking for its first win against Clemson since 2019 when the Eagles defeated the Tigers on the road in four sets.Â
On Sunday, the Eagles meet Georgia Tech in Atlanta for the first time this season. Last season the Eagles fell to the Yellow Jackets in a five set thriller in the Margot Connell Rec Center. Schroder added her third career double-double in the effort contributing 11 kills and 11 digs. The Eagles matched the Yellow Jackets blocking, adding nine, with Haggerty adding eight blocks including two solo.
