Women's Cross Country Places Sixth at ACC Championship

Abby Loveys earns All-ACC honors as the Eagles compete at the 2024 ACC Cross Country Championships
CARY, N.C. – The Boston College Women's Cross Country team competed at the 2024 ACC Cross Country Championships on Friday at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., placing 6th overall.Â
Abby Loveys was the top finisher for the Eagles on the day, placing 20th overall with a time of 20:09.2. Loveys earned All-ACC honors for her top-21 finish.Â
Roshni Singh completed the six-kilometer course with a time of 20:24.8, placing 35th overall. Aoife Dunne (20:28.3) placed 41st and Abby Lewis (20:29.7) placed 43rd, while Yasmine Abbes (20:30.5) was the final scorer for the Eagles at 46th overall.Â
Molly Hudson and Lily Flynn were the next two Eagles to cross the line. Hudson earned 49th place with a time of 20:34.9, while Flynn placed 71st with a time of 20:56.1. Â
Molly FitzPatrick finished 74th overall, while Ella Fadil and Kelsie Vicknair placed 113th and 151st respectively to round out the group of Eagles who competed at the championship meet.Â
As a team, Boston College finished 6th overall with 185 points. Notre Dame (115) won the team title, followed by Stanford (121), North Carolina (121), Virginia (152), and NC State (160) to round out the top-five.
Up Next: The Eagles will compete at the NCAA Northeast Regional on Nov. 15 in Hopkinton, N.H.
