
Eagles Score 18th Top-Five Finish of Fall Season

BC finished outside of the top-10 just three times this season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College sailing was back in action this past weekend, racing in the Nickerson Trophy regatta hosted by Tufts University, the Schell Trophy NEISA Open Championship hosted by Yale University, and the Women's Urn Trophy/NEISA Women's Fall Champs regatta hosted by Brown University.Â
The Eagles started the weekend with the Nickerson Trophy regatta, where they raced two boats. The A division boat scored 65 points, while the B division boat scored 70, for a total of 135 points and a third place finish. This is BC's 18th top-five finish this season.
Up next for the Eagles was the Schell Trophy NEISA Open Championship in New Haven, Conn., where they took ninth place. The A division boat scored 118 points, while the B division boat scored 97, for a total of 215 points
To close out the weekend, the Eagles competed in the Women's Urn Trophy/NEISA Women's Fall Champs regatta in Providence, R.I. BC's A division boat scored 88 points, while the B division boat scored 96, for a total of 184 points and a sixth place finish.
Up next: This was the last weekend of fall races for BC sailing before traveling to Long Beach, Calif. from January 4, 2025 to January 5, 2025 for the Rose Bowl regatta.
