Boston College finishes second overall to close out the 2024 fall slate
GLEN COVE, N.Y. -- Boston College closed out the 2024 fall season with a second place finish at the Nassau Intercollegiate at the Nassau Country Club.. Â The Eagles finished with a team score of 870 (290-289-291).
A pair of Boston College golfers finished among the top six, led by Ben Hong's second place finish. Â Hong was 3-over for the tournament, with a total score of 213 (71-69-73). Â Jack Pogorelc tied for sixth place, finishing with a total score of 217 (73-71-73).
Christian Emmerich (72-75-72=219) and Tommy Mangan (72-75-72=219) - playing as an individual - tied for 15th place. Â Markus Lam finished in a tie for 22th place (74-74-73=220), while Brian Xu tied for 48th (77-78-75=230).
BC led the field in total pars (175) and carded 28 birdies for the 54-hole tournament.
