
Second Place Finish for BC at the Quinnipiac Classic

Eagles finish one stroke off the team title; Cynthia Zhang tied for second overall
WALLINGFORD, Conn. -- Boston College finished in second place - one shot off the team title - at the Quinnipiac Classic, held Oct. 14-15 at The Farms C.C.
The Eagles finished with a team total score of 921 (304-308-309) - one shot behind tournament champion Penn. team scores of 304 and 308 for a 36-hole total of 612. Â BC led the field in par 5 (5.07 avg) scoring while ranking second on par 3 (3.43 avg) and par 4 (4.33) holes. Â Boston College tied for the most birdies (26) and the third-most pars (150).
Cynthia Zhang finished in a tie for second - two shots off the individual lead - with a 54-hole score of 226 (75-76-75). Â Frances Kim was one shot behind Zhang, with a score of 227 (74-77-76) - good for a tie for fifth place.
Stephany Kim is currently in 10th place (155), while Emily Böhrer (156) tied for 13th place (79-77-79=235) while Angel Lin (78-79-79=236) and Stephany Kim (77-78-81=236) tied for 16th.  Individually, Sritha Vemuri placed 24th (80-81-78=239) and Ana Lucia Trevino was 36th (82-82-81=245).
The Eagles close out play for the 2024 fall slate next week when they travel to Arkansas for the Diamante Intercollegiate, held Oct. 20-22.
