
Women's Soccer Suffers Setback against No. 22 Florida State

Wiebke Willebrandt made five saves for the Eagles
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.  – Boston College women's soccer fell  0-1 to No. 22 Florida State on night Saturday. 
BC drops to 10-4-1 overall with a 2-3-1 league record while Florida State is now 8-2-1 overall and 3-2-2 in the ACC.
It was a defensive battle in the first half, as the Eagles and Seminoles went into the break tied, 0-0.
Florida State broke the tie in the 52nd minute of the game after a Jordynn Dudley goal.
On the night, BC had nine shots with only three landing on the net. Ava Lung, Aislin Streicek and Ava McNeil all had a shot on goal for the Eagles.
Wiebke Willebrandt had a big second half, saving five of the six shots she saw.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday against Duke at 5 p.m.
