BOSTON COLLEGE VS. GEORGIA TECH - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the 32nd meeting between the two schools. Boston College is 12-19 all-time vs. Georgia Tech.
- Since joining the ACC, BC is 11-16 versus the Yellow Jackets. In ACC regular season play, BC is 8-13 against Georgia Tech.
- BC has dropped its last five meetings against Georgia Tech. Last year, GT came away with a 73-65 win at BC on March 4, 2023.

- Quinten Post is one of the best players in the country and his stat line for the 9-4 Eagles this season is perfect evidence.
- He is the only player in the country averaging at least 18.4 points, 8.1 boards, 3.2 assists, and 2.2 blocks per game.
- Using only points and rebounds: Post and fellow All-American and National Award candidates Hunter Dickinson (Kansas) and Zach Edey (Purdue) are the only major conference players averaging at least 18.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
- Using only rebounds and assists: Post joins fellow All-American and All-American candidate Devin Carler (Providence) as the only major conference players averaging at least 8.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game
- Post ranks 10th in scoring and sixth in rebounding among players on the Naismith & Wooden Award watch lists.
- Among players on the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar watch list, he is third in scoring, eighth in rebounds, and fourth in blocks.Â
- Post is also posting a 50/40/80 line of shooting percentages - connecting on 52.6 FG%, 47.5 3FG%, and 81.6 FT%.
- Post and Colorado's KJ Simpson are the only two players in the nation posting those percentages (min. 15.0 ppg).

- Over those five games, Claudell Harris Jr. led the Eagles in scoring, at nearly a 17.0 ppg clip.
- Harris scored the 1,000th point of his career en route to pouring in a season-high 29 vs. Lehigh.
- During the month of December, Harris drilled nearly 55% of his 3-point attempts (13-24) - including 7-10 vs. Lehigh.
- Jaeden Zackery averaged 15.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.8 steals in five December games.
- The junior guard connected on nearly 61% from the floor (31-51), while registering a 3.50:1 assist/turnover ratio.
- In 151 minutes played in five December games, Zackery committed only six turnovers.
- Quinten Post dominated the stat sheet in December: 14.0 points, 8.3 boards, 4.4 assists, 2.0 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game.
- Only Post and Kyle Filipkowski (Duke) posted those per-game averages during the month of December.
- The 7-footer set new career-highs in assists (9 vs. St. John's) and blocked shots (6 vs. Holy Cross) in December.Â
UNPRECEDENTED
- Through 13 games during the 2023-24 season, Quinten Post has set new single-game career-highs in scoring (31), rebounding (19), assists (9), blocked shots (5), and steals (6).
- Since 1996-97, no player has equalled those game high statistical figures in a single-season.
- In fact, since 1996-97, only four other players have tallied career-highs equal to what Post has done in 12 games.
- Included in that list - 2002-23 National Player of the Year and 15-year NBA veteran David West (Xavier) as well as John Konchar (IPFW) and Lawrence Roberts (Baylor/Miss. State) who both played with the Memphis Grizzlies.
CAN'T KNOCK THE HUSTLE
- Boston College is 3-1 this year, 7-1 in 2022-23 and 11-3 since Feb. 21, 2022 when Jaeden Zackery scores at least 15 points.
- Zackery tallied a career-high 21 points in nearly 39 minutes of play at The Citadel on Nov. 10.
- On Dec. 8 against Holy Cross, Zackery led BC with 18 points to go with five boards, four assists, and a steal.
- Against N.C. State, Zackery had a team-high 20 points, grabbing six rebounds, and dropping four dimes.
- When Zackery goes to the free throw line at least five times, BC is 3-2 this year, was 7-2 in 2022-23, and is 12-5 all-time.
- Zackery has committed one or fewer turnovers in seven games in 2023-24 and has 18 total turns in 389 minutes of play so far.
- Boston College has won nine of its last 11 games when Zackery commits one or fewer turnovers in a game.
- Zackery is the only ACC player with at least seven games of 10 points/4 assists/2 steals.
- Last season, Zackery had nine games with four or more assists. He's done so in 11 of 13 games this season.
BRINGING YOU THE BEST OF THE 80'S AND 90'S
- Boston College's 95 points against Holy Cross - the highest scoring total since Feb. 16, 2022 vs. Notre Dame (95).
- It the most points in a regulation game for BC since Jan. 1, 2017, when BC tallied 96 points in a home win over Syracuse.
- It was the highest single-game scoring total of the Earl Grant era and tied for the most points in a regulation Division I game under Grant (95 pts at CofC vs. Hofstra - Feb. 14, 2019)
- In nine-plus seasons between College of Charleston and Boston College, Earl Grant-coached teams are 44-6 when they score at least 80 points, 22-3 when they score at least 85, and 7-2 when scoring 90 or more.
- Since 1981, Boston College is 315-57 when it scores at least 80 points in a game.
McBLOCKTON
- BC is 18-7 when Devin McGlockton blocks at least one shot and 9-1 when he blocks at least two shots.
- The sophomore forward has registered at least one block in 10 of 13 games in 2023-24 and two blocks in four games.
- The versatile 6-7 post presence is averaging 1.1 blocked shots per game in 27 minutes of playing time.
- In ACC play, McGlockton is averaging nearly a double-double - 14.0 ppg & 9.0 rpg - while shooting nearly 65% from the floor.
- The only other players averaging at least 14.0 and 9.0 in ACC play are Armando Bacot (UNC) and Norchad Omier (UM).
HARRIS SHINES AMONG THE BRIGHT LIGHTS OF THE HEIGHTS
- Claudell Harris Jr. has scored in double figures in 10 of the 12 games in which he has appeared this season.
- He scored a season-high 29 points - including the 1,000th of his career - knocking down 7-of-10 3FG against Lehigh.
- The junior guard also added 22 points at Vanderbilt, making 9-of-13 shots - including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.
- Harris ranks second on the team in scoring (14.7), while leading the Eagles in 3FG made (30).
- Harris arrived at BC as a transfer from Charleston Southern and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
- He shined for CSU for two seasons, earning All-Big South second team honors as a sophomore a season ago.
- The 6-3 guard averaged 17.5 points per game last year - the second-best scoring mark in the Big South.
- Harris scored in double figures in 28 of 30 games for the Buccaneers in 2022-23 - including two consecutive 30-point games. Â
- He scored at least 20 points on 14 occasions and also connected on three or more 3-pointers in 14 of CSU's 30 contests. Harris spent two seasons at Charleston Southern and was named to the 2021-22 Big South All-Freshman Team, averaging 10.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 31 games played (14 starts) in his first collegiate season.
A HELPING HAND FOR 2023-24
- Over his last four games, Donald Hand Jr. is averaging 11.2 points, connecting on nearly 50 FG% and 40 3FG%.
- Hand scored a career-best 16 points against CCSU on Dec. 5, making 5-of-9 shots - including 3-of-6 from the perimeter.
- The redshirt freshman scored 11 of his 16 points in the second half, also adding three rebounds and two steals.
- On Dec. 10, Hand Jr. scored 11 points in a win over St. John's in 17 minutes of play.
- Against Lehigh, he had nine points to go with a career-best six rebounds while tallying seven points against Wake Forest.
- He has reached double-digits in the scoring column on four occasions; he had 13 points vs. Holy Cross and 14 at The Citadel.
- Hand ranks fourth on the Eagles in 3FG percentage (.368) and is the team's fifth-leading scorer (7.1 ppg).
- Last year, Hand Jr. tore his ACL after :37 of play in the first half vs. Detroit Mercy - game two of the season - on Nov. 11, 2022.
- After successful surgery on Nov. 30, 2022, the 6-5 guard relentlessly attacked his rehabilitation.
- Despite being fully cleared for action during this past summer, Hand did not play in the Eagles' three-game European tour.
MADSEN WITH CONSISTENT CONTRIBUTIONS OFF BENCH
- Through the first 13 games this season, Mason Madsen has come off the bench to make big plays in a key reserve role.
- On Dec. 8 vs. Holy Cross, Madsen had a season-high 17 points, knocking down 5-of-6 from the perimeter.
- The game prior - vs. CCSU, he had 15 points, seven boards, four assists, and three steals. All were season highs.
- One of the most consistent guards for BC, Madsen has only 21 turnovers over his last 32 games/587 minutes played.
- He has made 12 of his last 19 shots from the perimeter and has connected on 17-of-37 (.459) this year.
- Madsen led BC in 3-pointers made last season, connecting on 40 shots from beyond the arc.
