
Eagles Skate To a Tie With UNH

DURHAM, N.H. – The #13 Boston College women's hockey team skated to a tie with New Hampshire by a score of 2-2 Saturday.
The Eagles scored 13 seconds into the game, right off the opening faceoff. Sammy Taber dished the puck to Sammy Smigliani, who found the back of the net. New Hampshire responded with back-to-back goals, giving them the edge after the first period. In the second period, both teams remained deadlocked, with the Wildcats up by one.
Sammy Taber put the equalizer in the third period with four minutes left in regulation, sending the match to overtime. Neither team could finish it in overtime, sending the game to a shootout. UNH scored during the shootout, giving them the extra Hockey East point.
