BC Finishes Road Swing on Saturday at Clemson

BOSTON COLLEGE VS. CLEMSON - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the 30th meeting between the two schools. BC is 9-20 all-time against Clemson, dating back to 1975-76.
- In ACC regular season play, BC is 8-14 against Clemson. BC beat #20/20 Clemson, 62-54, at Conte Forum on Jan. 31, 2023.
- Last time at Littlejohn, BC erased a 23-point deficit to earn a 70-68 win on Jan. 15, 2022. Â At the time, the 23-point comeback tied for the biggest in ACC history.
- Head coach Earl Grant was an assistant at Clemson from 2010-14, helping guide the Tigers to an NCAA Tournament and a trip to the NIT.

POST, PARTY OF ONE
- Quinten Post is one of the best players in the country and his stat line for the 10-5 Eagles this season is perfect evidence.
- He is the only player in the country averaging at least 16.9 points, 7.7 boards, 3.3 assists, and 2.1 blocks per game.
- Using only points and rebounds: Post is one of eight major conference players averaging at least 16.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game; four of those players are on the Wooden midseason list.
- Using only points and assists: Post is one of 17 major conference players to average at least 16.9 points and 3.3 assists per game. The other 16 players are all guards. Seven of those players are on the Wooden midseason list. Â
- Post is also posting a 50/40/80 line of shooting percentages - connecting on 51.1 FG%, 44.7 3FG%, and 82.0 FT%.
- Post and Colorado's KJ Simpson are the only two players in the nation posting those percentages (min. 15.0 ppg).
- It's not a small sample: in 65 games at BC since 2021-22, Post has registered nearly a 50/40/80 shooting line - .517 FG; .414 3FG; .792 FT. - the only active player (min. 12.0 ppg) to post such shooting lines since the start of 2021-22- present.

MOST IMPROVED McGLOCKTON
- Devin McGlockton is staking an early claim for a spot on the All-ACC team and the league's Most Improved Player award.
- In his second full season, McGlockton is showing major jumps in virtually every statistical category, year over year.
- Through 14 games, McGlockton ranks fourth on the Eagles in scoring (10.7) and second in rebounding (6.6) and blocks (1.2).
- McGlockton's per game averages have increased across the board: scoring +4.6, rebounding +2.7, and blocked shots +0.5.
- He is connecting on better than 60% of his shot attempts from the floor, up from 55%.
- From beyond the arc, McGlockton has already surpassed his 3-point total (7) from a season ago.
- In ACC play, McGlockton is fourth in the league in scoring (18.3), sixth in rebounding (9.3), and second in FG% (.698).
- McGlockton has registered the highest single-game scoring total in conference play - a 30-point performance at Georgia Tech.
- On Jan. 10, the Cumming, Ga. product logged his first double-double of the season, with 15 points and 14 boards at Syracuse.
- He has set new single-game career-highs in scoring (30), rebounding (14), and blocks (3) this year.
ANALYTICALLY CORRECT
- Per KenPom, Boston College ranks 55th nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency with a 112.8 rating.
- The metric measures the total points scored per 100 possessions.
- BC ranks sixth overall in the ACC in adjusted offensive efficiency.
- It is the highest national ranking in the key offensive metric since the 2013-14 season, when BC was 32nd with a 114.3 mark.
JUST PEACHY
- Devin McGlockton poured in a career-high 30 points in a sort of homecoming at Georgia Tech on Jan. 6.
- The sophomore from Cumming, Ga. - about 45 min. from Atlanta - added five rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block.
- McGlockton connected on a career-best 12 field goals, including three 3-pointers, in the win.
- Last week, McGlockton averaged 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.5 steals in two games.
- Over that two-game span, he connected on 77.3% of his shots (17-22), including 4-of-6 3-pointers and 7-of-9 foul shots.
- He is the second Eagle to reach the 30-point mark this season; Quinten Post poured in 31 points in BC's lidlifter vs. Fairfield.
ROAD-TESTED
- Boston College began the season 3-0 in true road games, earning wins at The Citadel, Vanderbilt, and Georgia Tech.
- It marked the first time since the 2004-05 campaign that BC has won its first three road games to start the year.
- Dating back to last season, the Eagles are 5-3 in their previous eight ACC road tilts.

ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE HELPERS
- Boston College's top three scorers - Quinten Post, Claudell Harris Jr., and Jaeden Zackery - are also its top three assists men.
- Zackery ranks third in scoring (11.3) and first in assists (4.3), Post is first in scoring (16.9) and second in assists (3.3), and Harris is second in scoring (15.6) and third in assists (1.8). The trio combines for 9.4 of the Eagles' 14.6 assists per game.
- In ACC play, BC's Big Three - plus Devin McGlockton - rank as the team's top four scorers and dime dishers.
- Wake Forest is the only other ACC school to have its top three scorers rank as its top three passers.

- Devin McGlockton's seven offensive rebounds vs. Wake Forest were the most by a Boston College player in an ACC game since Feb. 8, 2022 when James Karnik had seven offensive rebounds vs. Duke on Feb. 12, 2022.

- Boston College ranks 92nd nationally (5th ACC) in field goal percentage, connecting on 46.6% of its shot attempts.
- A season ago, the Eagles were 222nd (11th ACC), making only 43.7% of its shots from the floor.
