Eagles Race at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown

Some of the top teams in the nation competed at Franklin Park this afternoon
BOSTON, Mass. — Boston College men's cross country competed at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown this afternoon at Franklin Park.
Steven Jackson finished 22nd overall the lead the Eagles. He clocked a time of 24:32.2 - a personal-best time at Franklin Park.
A trio of Eagles finished within 13 seconds of each other. Freshman John Garvey crossed the finish line in 60th place, in a time of 25:20.5. Peter Fox was eight seconds behind, placing 68th (25:28.7), while Andrew Healey was 71st overall (25:33.3).
Friend Weiler was the final scorer (25:51.0, 82nd), running in a pack with BC's Eero Helenius (25:52.6, 83rd), Edward Sullivan (25:52.8, 84th), and Sam Ellis (25:53.9, 88th).
As a team, Boston College placed 11th overall, compiling 273 points. Harvard (47) won the team title, followed by Northeastern (98), Cornell (116), and Dartmouth (117).
