
Eagles Fall to No. 8 Clemson

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College fell to No. 8 Clemson 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Newton Soccer Complex.
The Eagles are 3-6-2 and 0-3-0 in the ACC, while Clemson improves to 8-1-2 and 2-1 in the league.
Clemson took advantage of corners in the first and second half, with Mackenzie Duff scoring both of Clemson's goals.
Bella Douglas and Emily Sapienza attempted both of the Eagles' shots in the contest. Wiebke Willebrandt made one save in the net, playing all 90 minutes.
BC returns to action next Saturday against Pitt on the road at 7 p.m.
Notes
- Willebrandt is six saves away from 200 for her career.
- Kenna Thomas played a career-high 80 minutes in her second start.
