Eagles Cruise to 88-56 Win Over Italy All-Stars

Quinten Post led five players in double figures with 21 points
Post was 8-for-8 from the free throw line and connected on a 3-pointer to lead the Eagles in scoring in their first exhibition game of the team's tour of Italy and Spain. Prince Aligbe scored 12 points and grabbed six boards, while Chas Kelley III, Claudell Harris Jr., and Fred Payne added 11 points apiece.
Kelley knocked down three 3-pointers and registered three assists, while Harris tallied nine straight during a two minute span in the fourth quarter. Payne finished with seven boards and three steals in his first action as an Eagle. Devin McGlockton led BC with 12 rebounds to go along with five points, three assists, two blocks, and two steals.
BC led 20-14 coming out of the first quarter before doubling up the Italy All-Stars in the second quarter, 28-14, to take a 48-28 lead at the break. The Eagles would lead by as many as 30 in the fourth quarter.
Boston College will play its second exhibition game of the 10-day European tour on Tuesday, when it takes on Orange Basket Bassano in Florence.

* Boston College had 15 assists on 33 field goals
* Corey McCrae served as the team's head coach for the game. Jim Molinari (Tuesday vs. Orange Basket) and Anthony Goins (Friday vs. Catalonia Elite) will also share head coaching duties during the trip.
* Walk-on Abe Atiyeh drilled a fourth quarter 3-pointer from the deep left corner on his first touch of the game
