Eagles Head to UNH for Midweek Clash

BC heads to UNH for first away game of the season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College volleyball team is set for a New England road trip to take on the University of New Hampshire in a midweek clash tomorrow with the first serve at 6:00 PM.
The Eagles are coming off of a solid weekend at home, wrapping up the BC Invitational with a 2-0 record after topping the University of Michigan and Sacred Heart University in three straight sets. The weekend proved to be a full-team effort as Alayna Crabtree (13 kills vs SHU), and Katrina Jensen (13 kills vs. Michigan) each found themselves at the top of the leader board over the tournament. Defensively, Grace Milliken, Katrina Jensen, and Julia Haggerty all added 3 blocks over the weekend while Anna Murphy totaled 29 digs. Setters Grace Penn, Sophia Lambros, and Jane Petrie combined for 69 assists, highlighted by 21 from Petrie against SHU.Â
The Wildcats hold a 2-1 record heading into Wednesday's match after a weekend in Indiana falling to Indiana and dominating Southern Indiana and Radford at the Indiana Invitational. Senior Hannah Serbousek leads the team with 14 kills and 25.5 points on the season so far, averaging 2.40 kills per set. Senior setter Camryn Honn has 45 setups through three games to lead the team. Senior middle blocker Kelly Kaufmann (11 blocks) and sophomore libero Avery LePore (58 digs) lead on the defensive end.Â
Following the midweek match, BC heads west for the San Diego Tournament where they will take on Tennessee and San Diego.Â
