Multiple series and shows covering BC football to premiere in late-August.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The latest season of "Inside BC Football" debuts Friday, Aug. 25 on NESN at 6 p.m. in the first show of a four-episode series. Weekly BC football and BC athletics radio shows and podcasts are also scheduled for the fall.
"Inside BC Football" tells the behind the scenes story of the Eagles with player and coach interviews, mic ups, player features and more. Episode one previews BC's upcoming 2023 season with insight from head coach Jeff Hafley, coordinators and returning players.
The Podcast For Boston "For The Podcast" series returns with hosts, former Eagle quarterback Scott Mutryn and BCEagles.com's Dan Rubin. FTP will be the home to Coach Hafley's weekly interview. The Podcast For Boston channel has added a second football show with "The Pregame"; a short-form series featuring a one-on-one interview with a BC student-athlete and quick preview of that week's game. Pregame will be hosted by BC women's lacrosse's Annabelle Hasselbeck, who also takes over as the host of the latest season of "Around The Heights" on the podcast feed.
The week of Aug. 28 marks the first game-week of the season, which coincides with the relaunch of the Eagles' weekly radio show, which this year has been rebranded as the "BC Athletics Show". Jon Meterparel, the voice of BC football, and former BC linebacker and long-time radio color analyst Pete Cronan host the weekly show live from Donohue's Bar and Grill in Watertown. Head football coach Jeff Hafley kicks off the season as the week-one guest on Aug. 30. Complete details regarding guests will be released a week in advance of each show. Meterparel, Cronan and Mutryn will continue as the broadcast team for radio broadcasts on the Boston College Learfield IMG College Sports Network. Games will air on WEEI 850 AM and 93.7 FM. Broadcasts are also available to be streamed via the Varsity app.
