Eagles Upended at Long Beach State

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Boston College women's soccer fell to Long Beach State on Saturday evening, 4-2, in the final road contest of the weekend.
Boston College is 0-1-1 while Long Beach State improves to 1-1-0 on the season.
Both teams went into the break scoreless with the score tied, 0-0. The Beach scored four straight goals in a 15-minute span to take a commanding lead in the second half.
Andi Barth scored her first goal of the season just before Ella Richards cut the deficit in half with a score of her own.
Richards and Barth led the offense with a pair of shot attempts, while eight players in total attempted a shot.
The Eagles return to action next Thursday in the home opener at 7 p.m. against South Carolina.
