
Lacrosse Announces the Addition of 11 Newcomers

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Head coach Acacia Walker is excited to announce the addition of four transfers, Emma LoPinto, Becky Browndorf, Rachel Clark, and Julia Greene. The quartet of incoming Eagles joins seven incoming freshmen that will make up 11 newcomers.

One of two transfers from Florida, Browndorf arrives at the Heights after spending four seasons with the Gators ... in 2023, she was a third-team Inside Lacrosse/ILWomen.com All-American following a team and career-high 22 caused turnovers and a personal-best 21 ground balls ... played a pivotal role in Florida leading the AAC and ranking 10th in the nation allowing 9.45 goals per game and was in the top 15 in the league in caused turnovers per game ... was named All-AAC Second Team and to the AAC All-Tournament team following Florida's ninth straight tournament title ... ended her career with 55 ground balls and 54 caused turnovers.Â
Rachel Clark | Attack | 5-9 | Virginia | Devon, Penn.Â
Clark arrives at the Heights after spending two seasons with the Cavaliers ... led the team this past season with 63 goals and a career-high 76 points, while tying for third in the ACC in goals and eighth in points ... made First-Team All-ACC and was named All-American honorable mention by ILWomen and a US Lacrosse Magazine All-American First-Team honoree ... ended her UVA career with 127 goals, 24 assists, 29 ground balls and 22 draw controls. She was named the 2021-22 ACC Freshman of the Year as well.Â
Emma LoPinto | Attack | 5-4 | Florida | Manhasset, N.Y.Â
Joining fellow Florida teammate Browndorf, LoPinto spent two seasons with the Gators, tallying 125 goals and 62 assists for 187 points ... finished with 35 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers ... in 2023, she finished 14th in the nation in points (90) and 17th in goals (62) ... was the youngest player in school history to reach the 100-point milestone and the 100-goal career mark ...  named to the 2023 All-AAC First Team, IWLCA Second-Team All-American, ILWomen Third-Team All-American, and a Tewaaraton Top-25 nominee ... made the AAC All-Tournament team after helping her squad win the AAC Tournament title.Â
Julia Greene | Defense | 5-7 | Stanford | Norwell, Mass.Â
Spent four seasons at Stanford, helping the Cardinal capture a pair of Pac-12 titles ... started a career-high 18 games last season and is a Pac-12 Honor Roll and IWLCA Honor Roll honoree.
